Constantly evolving art adventures
Hands-on mosaic and glass classes, one-of-a-kind original art, and a studio that's absolutely overflowing with color... right here at Carleton Manor in Bend, Oregon!

Here's my favorite moment in any class: somewhere around the second hour, someone looks down at what they're making and goes quiet. Then they look up at me like, wait, I did that? That look is basically why I teach. Every class, every piece of art, every custom build in this studio starts the same way, with plain old curiosity, and ends with somebody surprising themselves.
Wherever you're starting from... come play. That's really all this is.

No experience required, I promise! Walk in curious, walk out with something beautiful that you’ve created with your own two hands.

Wall art, garden pieces, sculptural glass... bring home a one-of-a-kind mosaic or glass piece that becomes part of your story.

Source uniques Laser-cut substrates, custom forms, and digital design support to help bring your next big idea to life.
For twenty years I've watched people walk into my studio absolutely convinced they "aren't creative"... and walk out grinning, holding something they made with their own two hands. I've spent that same twenty years chasing my own curiosity through ceramics, welding, glass fusing, and about a dozen mediums I never expected to fall for (looking at you, CNC plasma cutter).
I've turned all of that into a body of work, original mosaic and glass art, and custom laser-cut and metal fabrication for other artists chasing their own big ideas. My art's been in shows and galleries across Central Oregon and I've had the privilege of teaching hundreds of students through Bend Parks & Recreation, Dry Canyon Community Art Center, the DIYcave, and Freak'n Art.

Beginners come here for the joy of making something beautiful with their own hands. Collectors come here for artwork that tells a story and belongs in their home. Fellow artists come here for new techniques, materials, and tools they can't find anywhere else. Different reasons, same studio... because curiosity looks different on everyone, and there's room here for all of it.

“If you’re contemplating taking time for yourself in an energizing and creative environment, attend one of Jesica’s workshops or retreats. I savored my time away from the city with no distractions, in a welcoming and relaxing environment. Jesica’s open studio time and courses are affordable and if you can get away for a multi-day retreat, jump on it!”
